"Saya melukis landskap,

Landskap suram dengan imajan yang minimal.

Ia menimbulkan keluasan ruang dan beremosi - sepi, sunyi dan misteri.

Namun kehadiran subjek di hadapannya memberi interpretasi yang berlainan.

”Itik pulang petang” adalah satu perumpamaan Melayu tentang sejauh mana kita pergi atau mengembara,kita pasti akan pulang ke tempat asal.

Catan ini mempersoalkan tentang ”hakikat” dalam kehidupan kita seharian."

Metode poster sebagai satu pendekatan, di mana ia berfungsi menyampaikan mesej terhadap masyarakat. Sama ada ianya satu maklumat, kenyataan, amaran, kempen, atau propaganda. Mesejnya ialah untuk mewujudkan sikap ’Patriotik’ ’Nationalisma’ kepada masyarakat majmuk Tanah Melayu ketika itu untuk menentang PENJAJAH.

Fables and Malay Folklore, inspirations by 'folks - story'. From folk - story ' dog and shadow', 'hen and eagle', deer and crocodile', 'tortoise and rabbit' . So from that literature review, I've come out with the images, icon, symbol, text and transfer into my own surface. Using tissue and bandage. I've created my own surface, where transparent or translucent element become the strength. Using light and shadow, the audiences can walk 360' around the installation.
